Dr. Israel Caro is a board-certified Family Medicine physician. He is a native of Puerto Rico. He began his studies at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia and then continued to Medical School at the University of Puerto Rico. Upon graduating, Dr. Caro completed his residency at the University of Puerto Rico Family Medicine program. Dr. Caro has experience in a wide array of locations from working at Pavia Hospital emergency room to West Jefferson Medical Center located in Louisiana. He has received NCQA recognition awards in the areas of diabetes, heart disease, and stroke. Dr. Caro is also a member of The American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Caro and his wife have four children. He loves to travel and spend time with his family. Dr. Caro thanks you for choosing the VIPcare team as your medical home.
